Reviewing Work and Releasing Payment

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Once your designer has completed the project, they’ll send the final work for your review. This is an exciting moment as you’re nearing the end of your collaboration!

Review the Work

When you receive the final work, you’ll have two options: Accept it or Request Changes.

You have a 7-day review period to make your decision. If you don’t respond within this time frame, the work is automatically accepted, and the payment will be processed.

Requesting Changes

If you choose to request changes, the review window is canceled. This means you have additional time to provide detailed feedback. The clock won’t reset until the designer submits a new version for your review.

Be sure to send all your feedback at once to minimize revisions and make the process smoother.

How to Give Effective Feedback

  • Be Clear and Direct: Specific and direct feedback helps avoid confusion.

  • Avoid Ambiguity: Ensure your comments are actionable and straightforward.

Before Accepting the Work

Before you hit "Accept" and release the payment, double-check a few things:

  • Ensure All Files Are Delivered: Confirm that you have all the files and deliverables promised in the Project Proposal.

  • Final Review: Make sure everything is as expected before you accept the work. Acceptance is final, so ensure you’re completely satisfied.

After Payment

Once you release the payment, it enters a 24-hour processing period. If you accidentally release the payment or encounter any issues, reach out to us as soon as possible for assistance.
