How to Add Text Messaging

This article will show you how to add the Text Messaging Add-On and walk through the business registration & A2P 10 DLC application flow.

1. Click on 'Add-Ons'

Click on Add-Ons

2. The Paid Add-Ons Page Will Display ...


3. Under Text Messaging, Click on 'Add'


4. Review SMS Benefits …


5. Click on 'Add'

Click on Add

6. You Will See a Green Notification 'SMS Successfully added'

This means, the Add-On was successful, and you are now ready to begin your business registration and A2P 10 DLC application. These are required for compliance with SMS messaging.

You will see a Green notification "SMS Successfully added."

7. Select Business Type From the Dropdown:

Note: If selecting Sole Proprietor, enter your SSN in the Business Registration Number field (to the right)

Select Business Type from the dropdown:

8. Enter Your Business Registration Number:

For this example, we are registering as an LLC with an EIN # (e.g., 12-3456789)

Enter you Business Registration Number:

9. Verify your Business Phone Number:

This will pre-populate with the number you have listed on your Dripjobs account.
You may edit this here if you like.

10. Next, Verify Your Company Website:

This will pre-populate with the URL you have listed on your Dripjobs account.
You may edit this here if you like.

Next, verify your Company Website:

11. Verify Your Company Address:

This will pre-populate with the address you have listed on your Dripjobs account.
You may edit this here if you like.

12. Review the Acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions/ Privacy Policy Requirements…

Note: This is very important, as your application may be rejected if your website and booking form are not in compliance.

13. Click on 'Acknowledge & Continue'

14. Next, Verify Your Authorized Representative

This is the person who will be the contact for your text messaging account and registration.


This will pre-populate with the user info you have listed on your Dripjobs account.
You may edit this here if you like.

Next, verify your Authorized Representative

15. Review the Acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions:

16. Click on 'Acknowledge & Continue'

17. Next, Select a Number

Here, you will select your new number. The system will pre-populate with your area code and the phone number dropdown should list the available numbers.

To search for more numbers:
Enter a different Area Code and click Search
Select Search by Zip Code from the dropdown to search by locality
And, change the region to Canada for Canadian phone numbers.

Next, Select a Number

18. Once You’ve Selected a Phone Number From the List, Click on 'Submit'

Once you've selected a Phone Number from the list, click on Submit

19. Click on 'Yes, submit it!'

Click on Yes, submit it!

20. Congratulations! You're A2P 10 DLC application has been successfully submitted!

Note: At this point, your Text Messaging add-on has been successfully added to your account, but texting may not yet be enabled. This is because your A2P Brand Registration is still *Pending approval and/or there was an issue with information provided.

*Approval can take up to 2 weeks, and you should receive an email with status once approved or rejected. If reject, contact Dripjobs Customer Success team via Help chat for assistance.

You can see the status below. Those items with a green checkmark have already been approved.

Congratulations! You're A2P 10 DLC application has been successfully submitted!



21. Click on 'Company Settings'

Now, let's navigate to the Integrations page to see how to quickly check on our status.

22. Click on 'Integrations'

Click on Integrations


23. Here you will see ...

A status tag (we are currently "Pending")
A timestamp (we "submitted 35 seconds ago")
Status details ('our A2P application is under review')

Status link (click here to go back to your Status screen)
