How to Add an Area Substrate as an Optional Item

This article will explain hoow to set an area substrate as an optional item in the proposal

1. Search for the Sales Pipeline Button on the Left Side Menu. Click on It.

Click on Drip Paint Co.…
Click on Sales Pipeline

2. Once at the Sales Pipeline, Search for the “In Draft” Stage.

3. Locate the Respective Deal Card Related to Your Customer and Its Proposal.

4. Click on the Deal Card’s Name to Display All the Associated Information to the Customer.

5. Here, You Can Check All the Information Associated With the Customer. Locate the “Proposals/Jobs” Tab.

For demonstration purposes, the drips are disabled, but this will not affect this process.

6. Click on the “Proposals / Jobs” Tab to Display All the Available Proposals for This Customer.

7. Locate the Proposal You Would Like to Modify, and Click Over It.

8. Once the Proposal Is Populated, Scroll Down Until You Get To the “Areas” Section.

Click on Areas…

9. Search for the Area You Would Like to Modify So That One of Its Items Is Optional on the Proposal. Then, Click on It.

In this case, we will check our Living Room area and its items.

10. Once You Click Over the Desired Area, a View of the Substrates That Compose the Job Related to the Specific Area, Will Pop Up.

Once there, look for the substrate you would like to set as an optional for your proposal.

11. Once Over the Selected Substrate, Click on the “Edit” Button at the Right Side of It.

12. Now, a View With All the Details and Measurements for This Specific Substrate Will Show Up. Scroll Down Until the Bottom, and Search for the “Is Optional” Toggle Button.

13. Click on It, and Make Sure It’s Toggled On. Then, Click “Next”.

14. Once You Click on the “Next” Button, a New Screen Will Be Shown. Scroll Down Until You Find the “Submit” Button, and Click on It.

15. How Will It Look On Your Customer’s End?

After you click on the "Submit" button, you will be taken to the proposal's look. Scroll up to the proposal´s header, and search for the "Customer View" button.

Click on View Deal…

16. Click on Customer View

17. Once at the Customer’s View, Scroll Down Until the Item’s List Is Displayed.

Click on Item…

18. From There, Scroll Down Until You Find the “Optional Substrates”.

Here is where your customer will be able to choose if the substrate for that specific area should be included or not.

The amount due will be updated based on the selection made, and once added, can be removed in case the customer changes its mind.
