If you’ve set up Google Calendar sync for your Appointments calendar in DripJobs but notice that some events are missing or not appearing as expected, here are the main reasons why this may happen:
Recurring events are not synced
At the moment, DripJobs does not pull in recurring events created in your Google Calendar. Only single events created directly on your Google Calendar will appear in DripJobs.
Previous appointments are not transferred
When you connect your Google Calendar, only future appointments will sync moving forward. Any appointments that were created in Google Calendar prior to the sync will not be transferred into DripJobs.
Custom events different than on-site estimates are not synced
While DripJobs Appointments are pushed into Google Calendar, custom events you create within DripJobs are not sent back to Google. These will only live inside your Appointments calendar.
The Google Calendar sync is designed mainly to help you keep track of upcoming DripJobs appointments in your Google Calendar and ensure new events you create in Google appear in DripJobs. However, because of the limitations above, you may not always see every event reflected on both calendars.
If you don’t see an event after syncing, it’s likely due to one of these limitations.
