Before You Start, You Should Know:
Line Items โ Main Items That Are Part Of The Proposal. They Are Always Included In The Total Calculation (Quantity, Price, Subtotal, Tax, Total).
Optional Items โ Additional Or Extra Items That You Can Offer To The Customer. They Are Only Added To The Total If The Customer Accepts Them.
1. Click On "Proposals"
2. Click On The Proposal You Want To Open
3. Click On "Add Item"
To Add A Line Item To The Proposal
4. Click On Select A Product Or Service...
5. Here You Can See The Product Or Service Information, Description, Quantity, And Price If It Is An Existing Item
6. Click On "Save"
7. Now, To Add An Optional Item To The Proposal, Click "Add Optional Item"
8. Click On Select A Product or Service...
9. Here You Can See Product Or Service Information, Description, Quantity, And Price Of The Added Product Or Service.
10. Click On "Save"
11. Now You Can See The Line Item And The Optional Item Added, Along With Their Costs.
Notice That The Optional Item Is Not Included In The Total Yet Since It Has Not Been Approved By The Client.
12. Click On "Customer View" To Visualize The Proposal As The Client Will See It
13. Now You Can View The Proposal. If You Scroll Down, You Will Find The Line Items And Optional Items Added
14. Now You Can See The Line Item And Its Description
15. Now You Can See The Optional Items Added With Their Description And Price.
Remember These Will Only Be Included In The Total If The Customer Approves Them.
16. Click on "Add" to include the optional item in the proposal.
17. Click Delete If You Want To Remove The Optional Item From The Proposal.
18. Now You Can See The Optional Item Added And Reflected In The Total.
Now You Can Also See The Total Amount Of Optional Items Added.
