The Main Difference Between Creating A New Proposal Inside The Deal And Creating A Proposal From The Sales Pipeline Is What Happens To The Deal.
If You Create A Proposal From The Sales Pipeline, A New Deal Is Automatically Generated, And It Appears In Draft Stage By Default.
If You Create A Proposal Inside An Existing Deal Card, The Proposal Will Be Linked To That Deal, And The Deal Card Will Stay In The Same Stage. This Way, When You Open The Deal Card, You Will See The New Proposal Added Along With The Previous Ones, Without Moving The Deal To Draft.
1. Click On "Sales Pipeline"
2. Click On "New Proposal"
3. Select The Client From The List So That Their Information Automatically Fills Into The Proposal Form.
You Can Also See That The Stage Will Be Set To "In Draft" By Default.
4. And Click On "Start"
5. Here We See The Proposal That Was Created From Outside The Deal, And It Appears In The Drafts Stage
6. Now Go Back To The Sales Pipeline And Click On The Deal Card You Want To Open
7. Click On "Proposals / Jobs"
8. Here You Can See The Proposals That Belong To This Specific Deal Card
9. Click On "New Proposal"
10. Fill In The Required Information And Click On "Save" To Create The Proposal
11. Now We Can See The New Proposal Listed Here Along With The Previous One
12. As We Can See, The Deal Card Did Not Move To Draft, It Remained In The Same Stage
