Archiving vs. Rejecting A Proposal From A Deal Card

In this article, you will learn the difference between archiving and rejecting a proposal from a deal card.

When a Proposal is archived, it shows up under the customer's Contact information as Cancelled. No Drips or further communication will go out to the client.

1. Click On "Sales Pipeline"

2. Click On The Deal Card With The Desired Proposal To Archive

3. Now Click On The Three Dots

Marking A Proposal As Rejected Initiates A Drip Sequence Trying To Re-engage The Customer.

7. Click On The Three Dots On The Card Containing The Proposal You Want To Move To The Rejected Stage And Click On "Advance Deal" Or Simply Drag It To The Stage

The key difference is in the intention:

  • Archiving closes the proposal completely with no further follow-up.

  • Rejecting keeps the door open by automatically starting a re-engagement sequence.

Use Archive when you are certain the proposal is no longer valid, and Reject when you want to attempt recovery of the deal.
