Create Lead
The Create Lead action is used when a customer has expressed interest in working with you but has not yet decided on the exact type of project or service they want.
At this stage, the goal is to gather basic information and begin nurturing the opportunity. You can also choose whether the lead is Cold or Warm, which determines the type of follow-ups the system will apply, more frequent for cold leads, and occasional for warm ones.
This option is ideal for prospects who are still in the decision-making phase.
Create On-Site Estimate
The Create On-Site Estimate action is used when you already know the details of the job the customer needs, including the type of service, location, and preferred date for the estimate.
This action allows you to schedule the appointment directly, assigning it to a salesperson right away. It streamlines the process when the client is ready to move forward and the estimate details are known already.
In short:
Create Lead is for potential customers still deciding what they want.
Create On-Site Estimate is for customers ready to schedule a specific job estimate.
HOW TO CREATE THEM?
1. From Here You'd Create a New Lead
2. From Here You'd Either Create a New Contact or Select an Existing One
Keep in mind to also select the lead source your customers are reaching to you from, and giving a name to the deal you´re creating
3. Feel Free to Select the Stage This Deal Is Going to Appear on and If You'd Like to Disable the Drips for the Deal
4. Remember to Select the Address, Salesperson and Project Manager for This Deal
5. This Is How the Deal Card Would Look so Far
Check how the deal appears on Cold/Warm leads (as selected)
6. From Here You'd Create a New On-Site Estimate
7. Decide How to Customize Your Estimate
Add the event color
Who this is going to be assigned to
Date and Time to schedule
Decide if enable or disable the reminders
8. From Here You'd Either Create a New Contact or Select an Existing One
Keep in mind to also select the lead source your customers are reaching to you from, and giving a name to the deal you´re creating
9. Select the Address for This Estimate and Add Details If Necessary
10. Also Decide Your Communication Ways, If Disable the Drips or Not and the Drip Sequence This Deal Would Work With
If your SMS communication is enabled, you can edit it from here - the email one would need to be edited from you templates on your company settings
