Overview
DripJobs Offers A Sales Pipeline Tool Designed To Help Users Organize And Manage Leads Efficiently. A Common Question Among Users Is Whether The Stages Or Columns In The Pipeline Can Be Customized, Especially The Default Ones Such As “Cold Leads” Or “Estimate Requested.” This Article Explains What Customization Options Are Available And Why Some Stages Cannot Be Modified.
Can I Rename Or Modify Default Stages In The Sales Pipeline?
Default Stages In The DripJobs Sales Pipeline — Such As Warm Leads, Estimate Requested, Or Cold Leads — Cannot Be Renamed, Deleted, Or Hidden. These Stages Are Pre-Configured To Maintain A Consistent Workflow Throughout The Platform And Ensure That Automation And Reporting Features Function Properly. For That Reason, Default Stages Are Not Editable.
What Can I Customize?
Even Though Default Stages Are Fixed, DripJobs Allows Users To Create And Manage Custom Stages To Fit Their Specific Business Workflows. Here’s What You Can Customize:
Adding Custom Stages Or Columns: You Can Add New Stages Or Columns To Meet Specific Business Needs And Workflows. You Can Add A Custom Stage Like This:
1. Click On "Drips"
2. Click On "+ Add Custom Stage"
3. Assign A Name And An Optional Description, When You're Done, Click On Save
4. Now Click On "Sales Pipeline"
5. And Here You Can See Your New Stage
Removing Custom Stages Or Columns: To Delete A Custom Stage Or Column, Navigate To Your Drips Settings And Remove The Added Stage.
1. Now Let's Suppose You Want To Delete This Stage
2. Click On "Drips"
3. Click On The Stage You Want To Delete
4. Click On "Edit Stage"
5. Click On "Delete"
6. Click On "Yes, delete it" And That's It
(Note: This Applies Only To Custom Stages, Not Default Ones.)
These Options Allow Flexibility In How You Track And Move Leads Through Your Pipeline, While Keeping The Core Stages Standardized.
Why Can’t Default Stages Be Modified?
Default Stages — Such As Cold Leads — Are Integral To The DripJobs Sales Workflow. They Are Built Into The System To Ensure Compatibility With Other DripJobs Tools, Automations, And Reporting Features. If Users Could Modify Or Delete These Stages, It Could Affect Data Accuracy And Disrupt System Functionality, Which Is Why They Remain Locked.
