When a blast email shows a Queued status, it means the system is preparing your campaign to be sent. This typically happens when the number of contacts in your selected audience is large, and DripJobs needs time to review and filter who will actually receive the email.

During this process, the system checks for contacts with suppressed or invalid email addresses, such as those who previously unsubscribed, bounced, or were marked as spam. It also validates the list to ensure that each email address is active and can receive messages safely.

In addition to email verification, the system organizes the delivery in batches to prevent overload and ensure smooth sending. The queued status can also occur when:

  • The system is validating which contacts meet the selected filters in the Send To section.

  • Some contacts are temporarily skipped due to past delivery issues.

  • The campaign includes dynamic content or personalization fields that need to be processed before sending.

Once these checks are complete, the blast will automatically begin sending, and the status will change from Queued to Sent.
