When a client replies to any email sent from a job in DripJobs — whether it's a drip email, a proposal, an invoice, or any other job communication — that reply is automatically routed to the salesperson assigned
How reply routing works
DripJobs checks the salesperson assigned to the job and routes the reply directly to them.
Here's the logic:
• If the job has an assigned salesperson → the reply goes to that salesperson's email address.
• If there is no salesperson assigned to the job → the reply goes to the default email set in Company Settings > Email Settings.
📌 Tip This applies whether you're using a custom email domain or not — reply routing works the same way in both cases. |
What types of emails are included?
This routing applies to all job-related emails sent through DripJobs, including:
• Drip emails
• Proposals
• Invoices
• Any other email sent from a deal card
Blast doesn't apply here, if someone replies to a Blast Email, it will still go to the main email in Company Settings > Email Settings
Make sure your team is set up correctly
To ensure replies reach the right person, make sure each salesperson has their email address updated in their user profile. You can verify this under Settings > Users.
If you don't have a default reply email set yet, go to Company Settings > Email Settings to configure it. This is the fallback for any job without an assigned salesperson.
