What Information Is Included In A DripSense Insight?

In this article, you will learn what information is included in a dripsese insight from your metrics.

See the Following Information After Running an Insight

Last run (date and time): Shows how current the information is. From this you can tell whether the data reflects the latest state of the business or whether time has passed since the last update — important to know before acting on the insight.

Selected time period (e.g. 09/01/2026 – 09/30/2026): Sets the frame of reference for every other metric on the card. Everything shown below applies only to that range, not to the business's full history.

Base insight — revenue projection ("At this pace you'd finish around $13,148", 80% confidence): This is a forecast: it takes the revenue pace from the days that have already passed in the selected period and extrapolates it across the full period. From this you can infer where the business is headed if nothing changes — it's a projection, not a guaranteed outcome. The confidence percentage reflects how consistent that pace has been so far: the higher it is, the more reliable the projection; the lower it is, the more uncertainty there is (for example, from limited days of data or high variability).

Brief insight ("What Your Numbers Are Telling You"): This narrative compares the first several days of the selected period against the same number of days from the immediately preceding period. From it you can infer the cause behind the revenue change — for example, if revenue dropped, it explains whether that was driven by fewer proposals sent, smaller job sizes, or both. It's the "why," not just the "what."

Revenue: Actual income generated in the current period versus the prior period, with the percentage change. From this you can read the revenue trend: whether it's climbing or falling, and how sharp that change is.

Average Job Value: The average value per job closed in the period. From this you can infer whether customers are booking larger or smaller jobs on average — useful for knowing whether a revenue shift is coming from job size rather than volume alone.

Proposals Sent: The number of proposals sent during the period. From this you can infer the level of sales activity — whether more or fewer opportunities are being generated, which directly affects potential revenue.

Set Rate: Based on the name, this would be the rate of appointments/proposals successfully set out of total leads or contact attempts — I don't have DripJobs' official definition for this one, so flagging it as something to confirm. From it, though, you can infer how effective the process is at moving a prospect into the proposal stage.

Closing Ratio: The close rate — of the proposals sent, how many convert into won jobs. From this you can infer how effective the sales process is at the final stage, independent of how much volume was generated earlier in the funnel.
