Drips are automatic communication - emails and texts - that the system sends on your behalf.
There are drips for every deal stage. Customers only get drips for the deal stage they are in.
Once we click on Drips in the left panel, we can see each deal stage represented: Cold Leads, Warm Leads, Estimate Requested, etc.
To get there on your phone, click the 3 horizontal lines on the top left, then click on the drop icon. Once we are here we can click on any of the boxes to open up and see all the drips for that deal stage.
For example, after clicking Cold Leads, we can see there are follow-ups for 30 days. There is an option to Add a New Drip, and we can click on any of the drips under Cold Leads to edit them.
There are many options when editing a drip:
1. We can edit the drip name.
2. We can check the box to Send Immediately.
3. We can change the number in this box to indicate how soon we want the drip to be sent.
4. The dropdown here can be changed to Day, Hour or Minute. If you select minute the system requires a minimum of 30 minutes.
5. We have three options here - Email, SMS or Both.
6. We can change the subject line of our email.
7. Here we can edit the text of our email.
8. Here are keywords. When these are clicked, they automatically copy to the clipboard so they can be easily pasted into the body of your email or text message. Keywords are very handy - they pull information from the database, so when it says {first-name}, DripJobs will put in your customer's first name. Always use this feature rather than putting a customer's name in your drips. You would not want every communication to say "Hi, Sally!". Instead, when you use {first-name}, the system will find your customer's name and insert it in the drip with no effort on your part.
9. Be sure to Save when you are finished editing your drip.
10. You can use sequences - watch this video for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaSsa_e9xUM&t=3s
