Production Rates: How to Manage Your Proposal Defaults & Project Details

This article will explain how to set you overall proposal defaults, including rates, tax settings, and project details.

Note: Any changes made in the Production Rates settings are global changes, which means they will be reflected on all Proposals moving forward.


Managing Proposal Defaults

1. Click on Production Rates…

2. Set Hourly Cost Rate ($)

How much does it cost you to employ a worker?
This number represents the total average hourly costs, including burden, of one painter, per hour. Example: Average hour rate ($20) + Average Burden ($6) = Hourly Cost Rate ($26)

3. Set Hourly Sell Rate ($)

How much are you selling the labor to your customer for?

This number represents the hourly rate you will charge your customers for one painter, per hour.

4. Set Product Markup (%)

This number represents how much markup you want added to each proposal for each gallon of paint.

5. Set Tax On Labor

Toggle these ON/OFF depending on your Company Tax requirements.

6. Adjust Portal Settings

Toggle these ON/OFF to dictate how these items show in the portal.

7. Click on Save

1. Next Set Project Details

2. Click on The Pencil (Edit) Icon

3. Edit Title

4. Then, Edit Description
