This article will walk you through creating a template for use anytime you are ready to start a new Production Rates based client proposal.

1. Click on Proposal Templates from the Management menu.

Click on Proposal Templates from the Management menu.

2. Click on New Template

Click on New Template

3. Enter a Template Name

This could be anything. For the example, I might have called this one:

"Production Rates - Interior Painting (Master Bedroom)"

4. Click on Start

5. Click on Add Area

Click on Add Area

6. Select Type and then click Next

7. Select Area

8. Click on Next

9. Make any required adjustments to the Area Details

11. Select Categories

13. Make any required adjustments to Substrates.

Note: You can adjust each individually, by clicking on the substrate name.

16. Add Crew and/or Client Notes

Crew Notes: Visible only on the Work Order

17. Click on Submit

19. Click on Add Optional Area

Repeat Steps 6 - 18

Click on Add Optional Area

20. Review

In this example, we've added an Optional Area for: Master Bathroom

22. Click on the Deposit amount digits.

Note: If you do not require a deposit, you can skip this step.

Click on the Deposit amount digits.

23. Enter the required deposit

Note: You can use the Type dropdown to switch to percentage (%) if you like.

The Waive Convenience Fee can be toggled ON, if you accept Stripe Online Payments, to waive this 2.9% fee. Or, leave it OFF and the Credit Card Processing Fee will be automatically calculated.*

*If you don't utilize Stripe, you can leave the toggle as is.

Enter the required deposit

24. Example: Here we have set the deposit as 30%

βœ… Your new Production Rates Proposal Template will now be available for selection when you're ready to start your next client proposal.
