What to Do When a PDF File Will Not Upload to the Customer Portal

This will explain what to do if you receive an error when uploading a file to the Customer Portal section of your Company Settings.

Follow the steps below if you receive this error when uploading PDF documents to the Customer Portal.

Note: This error means the document is reading as an HTML document rather than a PDF document.

Follow the steps below if you receive this error when uploading PDF documents to the Customer Portal.

1. Go to Google Drive (drive.google.com) and upload the PDF file

2. Click on the PDF document once downloaded

Click on the PDF document

3. Click on Print

Click on Print

4. Choose Save as PDF

Choose Save as PDF

5. Click Save to save the PDF to your computer

Click Save to save the PDF to your computer

6. Upload the newly downloaded PDF to the Customer Portal

Click on Successfully updated your company settings
