How to Navigate the Sales Pipeline

This article will show how new leads & deals are created in your sales pipeline and explain each stage.

1. Click on Sales Pipeline

2. Cold Leads

Sales pipeline stage 1: Potential customers you have not yet communicated with, most often coming from a paid leads source.

3. Paid Leads (Integrations)

Integration for paid leads can be found via your Company Settings.

4. Paid (Facebook) Leads

These are leads you've purchased from a service like Angi Leads, Thumbtack, or Facebook. The contact is pulled in via integration, and a Deal Card is automatically created under Cold Leads.

5. The Deal Card

This will show the Lead Source next to the name. Here, we can see that John Smith came to us via Facebook. This card will move automatically throughout your pipelines.

6. Warm Leads

These are potential customers you've met or spoken with who have expressed interest in utilizing your services but are not yet ready to book.

Example: Someone you met at a trade show or the local coffee shop.

7. To create a New (Warm) Lead, click on the New Lead button

8. Complete the New Lead/Deal form

9. Change the Stage to Warm Leads

10. Complete the form and click Start

11. You now have a new Warm Lead/ Deal Card

12. Estimate Requested

These are customers looking to schedule an estimate who have come from your Customer Booking Form, whether they completed the form or you filled it out for them.

13. New Request

For customers who call or email asking to book an estimate, you can easily send them the booking form. Simply click New Request from your computer (top right) or the Request button at the bottom of your DripJobs App.

14. Enter their phone number and email. Then, click Send

They will complete the Booking Form, and a Deal Card will be created automatically under the Estimate Requested stage.

15. View Booking Page

Another way to complete the Estimate Request form is to click on the View Booking Page from the Send Booking URL pop-up.

16. The Booking Form

Once the booking form pops up, complete the information for them and submit it.

The Booking Form will come up and you can complete the form for them.

17. In both instances, a New Deal Card will appear under Estimate Requested

Tip: Deal Cards in this stage should always be scheduled via the Appointments page.

18. Click on Appointments

19. Click on the green appointment Request

Complete the pop-up scheduling module and click Save. The green card will disappear, and your new estimate will appear on the calendar.

20. Estimate Scheduled

All scheduled appointments will move automatically to the Estimate Scheduled stage.

21. To schedule an estimate without sending the booking form, click New Appt.

22. Select On-Site Estimate

23. Complete the scheduling form & click Save

These new Deal Cards will automatically populate to the Estimate Scheduled stage, skipping the request stage.

24. Creating a Proposal & moving to In Draft

Click on the Deal Name.

25. Click on New Proposal

26. Click on Blank to create a new proposal or select a template

27. Once a Proposal has been started, the Deal Card will move

automatically to In Draft

28. Proposal(s) Sent

Once a proposal has been completed and sent, the Deal Card will move automatically to the Proposal(s) Sent stage, and the next round of Drips will start. (See step 31)

29. Proposal(s) Rejected

Proposals that are not accepted by the client can be moved manually to the Proposal(s) Rejected stage by clicking on the Deal Card and dragging it over.

32. Each pipeline stage has its own automated sequence of Drips.

These can be customized by opening the stage dropdown and clicking on the Drip title.
