How to Switch your Primary Twilio Customer Profile

This article will detail how to switch your Customer Profile on Twilio to complete A2P Registration.

If you originally registered as a Sole Proprietor, but are instead a Corporation or an LLC, you will need to follow the steps below to add and switch your Twilio Customer Profile before an A2P Campaign will be approved.


1. Click on Messaging

2. Click on Regulatory Compliance

Click on Regulatory Compliance

3. Click on Onboarding

Click on Onboarding

4. Click on Switch Customer Profile

Click on Switch Customer Profile

5. Click on New Customer Profile

Click on New Customer Profile

6. Select Yes

7. Select Yes to confirm you have a tax ID or EIN

8. Select Yes, I would like to register as a Primary customer profile

Select Yes, I would like to register as a Primary customer profile

9. Click on Continue

10. Input your business name

11. Choose the Business Type

Choose the Business Type

12. Enter your Tax ID or EIN

13. Fill out the rest of the information and click Save and Continue

14. Fill out Business Address and Contact Information. You can then Review and Submit the brand for approval.


15. Once approved, you can move through with registering or re-registering your A2P Campaign. See instructions for that in this article.
