Setting Sales Tax

This article will show you how to set your Sales Tax percentage and where it shows up on the Proposal.

1. Click on 'Company Settings'

Click on Company Settings

2. Scroll Down

Scroll down

3. Look for the title 'Tax Rate'

In the box next to it, type the percentage of your Tax Rate

Look for the title "Tax Rate"

4. Scroll to the Bottom. Click on 'Save'

5. Click on 'Sales Pipeline'

6. Look for the Deal You Would Like to Check

Look for the Deal you would like to check

7. Click on the Proposal #

Click on the Proposal #

8. Click 'Add Line Item'

Click Add Line Items

9. This Pop-up Will Appear

Select the Product/Service, Quantity, and Price

This pop up will show up

10. Below the Item Description, You Will See Your Tax Rate Percentage

Make sure the option 'Taxable' is on

Below the Item Description you will see your Tax Rate Percentage

11. Click on 'Save'

Click on Save

12. You'll See Your New Item Added to Your Proposal With the Taxable Price

You will see now your New Item added to your proposal with the taxable price

💬 To View How Your Client Will See This...

13. Click on 'Customer View'

Click on View Portal green bottom

14. Scroll to the Bottom of the Proposal to See the Tax

Below your items, they can see it
