How Can a Customer Reject a Proposal?

The following will outline the steps a customer can take to reject a proposal.

There are two ways to reject a proposal:


Option 1. If there is no Change Request submitted.


1. In the Proposal

First, Open the Proposal

2. Click on 'Reject'

Next, Click on 'Reject'

3. Submit a Reason for Rejecting the Proposal

Submit a reason for the proposal's rejection. The dropdown box has a few options.

Then, Submit a Reason for Rejecting the Proposal

4. Add an Optional Comment by Typing in the Text Box if You Want to Explain Your Reason for Rejecting the Proposal

5. Then, Click on 'Reject Proposal'

Then, Click on 'Reject Proposal'

Option 2. If there is an active Change Request.


1. Click on Actions

Click on Actions

2. Click on Reject Proposal

Click on Reject Proposal

3. Choose the reason for the rejection

Select Chose a different contractor from Tell us why you're rejecting the proposal (required)

4. You can add an Optional comment...

Click on Optional comment...

5. Click on Reject Proposal

Click on Reject Proposal

Once the proposal is rejected


You Will Be Able to See the Status at the Top and the Reason the Proposal Was Rejected

Within the Proposal, You Will Be Able to See the Status at the Top and the Reason the Proposal Was Rejected

The Deal Card Has Automatically Moved to The 'Proposal Rejected' Stage

Now, the Deal Card Has Automatically Moved to The  ‘Proposal Rejected’ Stage
