TPMS is a monitoring system found on most modern cars. The purpose of this system is to reduce fuel consumption and increase safety. If the light is on there is no need to panic, it is just a warning and is easy to solve.

You also get this light when you change the tires of a car. You must then have the system recalibrated. Then the car knows that the new values are good and belong to new tires.

We would like to explain to you step by step how to do this, but because we have many different cars with different systems, it is easier to look for TPWL or TPMS in the maintenance booklet.

The warning light looks like this:

If you receive the warning without changing tires, we recommend that you drive to a gas station and inflate the tires using an air device. The recommended pressure is stated on a sticker in BAR in the driver's door post.
