Before you move: permissions checklist
To move a document, you need both:
On the document you're moving: you must be the Owner or have the Manager role.
On the destination shared folder: you need at least Editor access.
If either is missing, the move will fail and you'll see a "You do not have permission" message.
How to move
Open the dashboard.
Click File → Move…
Click Hub, then pick your company folder (or a subfolder inside it).
Click Move.
⚠️ Heads up — ownership transfers when you move. When a document is moved into a shared folder, its ownership transfers to the folder's owner. If you want to retain ownership of your dashboard, only move it into shared folders that you own. Otherwise, you'll lose Manager-level control over the document the moment you move it.
If you see a "You do not have permission" message, ask whoever owns that folder to either grant you Editor access — or to move the document on your behalf.
Once moved, the dashboard will be visible to everyone with access to that Team Documents folder.
