In-Store Restock Alert Setup Guide

Follow this setup to maximize your chances of hitting local in-store restocks without missing important alerts.

A proper ZIP code and keyword setup can be the difference between missing restocks and checking out first 🏃‍♂️💨

Quick Setup Tips

  • Add multiple store ZIP codes, not just one

  • Keep keywords tight and intentional

  • Mute channels you do not want alerts from — no need to remove roles

  • Check your keywords weekly as products rotate

🗺️ Step 1: Add Store ZIP Codes

This is one of the most important steps for local in-store alerts.

✅ Add the ZIP codes of the stores near you
❌ Do not only use your personal or home ZIP code

You want the ZIP codes for nearby supported retailers, such as:

  • Best Buy locations

  • Dollar General locations

  • Any other supported local retailers in your area

Use Google Maps to find the exact ZIP code for each store location and add multiple ZIP codes around you for better coverage.

The more accurate your store ZIP setup is, the better your local restock alerts will be.

🔔 Step 2: Keyword Management

Keywords control what alerts you receive.

A good keyword setup means less noise and better hits.

View Your Current Keywords

Use this command to see your current keyword setup:

/keywords

This will show the keywords currently attached to your account.

Add Keywords

Use this command to add keywords:

/addkeyword +keyword,-keyword

How Keywords Work

Use + to include products or terms you want alerts for.

Use - to block products or terms you do not want alerts for.

Examples

+pokemon,-japanese
+prismatic,-online
+151,-booster pack

These examples would alert you for the positive keyword while filtering out the negative keyword.

Remove a Keyword

To remove a keyword, you first need to find the Keyword ID.

Step 1: View Your Keywords

/keywords

Step 2: Copy the Keyword ID

Find the keyword you want to remove and copy its KeywordID.

Step 3: Remove the Keyword

/removekeywords [KeywordID]

Replace [KeywordID] with the actual ID shown from your keyword list.

Clear All Keywords

Use this command if you want to fully reset your keyword setup:

/clearkeywords

This will remove all saved keywords from your account.

Best Practices

  • Use specific keywords instead of broad ones

  • Avoid adding too many random keywords

  • Add negative keywords to reduce unwanted alerts

  • Review your keywords weekly

  • Update keywords when new sets, products, or retailers become active

  • Add multiple store ZIP codes for better local coverage

  • Mute channels you do not want instead of removing roles

Final Reminder

Your alert setup is only as good as your ZIP codes and keywords.

For the best results, keep your ZIP codes accurate, your keywords clean, and your setup updated as products rotate.
