Once an expense or payment category is no longer relevant to your business, you can delete it so that you can proceed with your current model.
In this example, the Category we want to remove is called IT Services. To delete, click on the Category in any month and select Delete in the pop-up window.
Categories will only appear in your Scenario when they contain Items, but they will still appear in your Category list when you area creating new Items.
If you want to delete an unused Category that is in your list but not used in a Scenario, just add a temporary Item into that Category so that it will appear in your Scenario then delete the Category.
To do this, simply select the Category and select Delete.
Once you have confirmed you do, in fact, want to delete the category and all of the data within, it will be removed from that date onward.
