Your students and parents can login to Duet once they have a username and password.
To reset a student's or contact’s username and password:
Click on the Students icon on the left
Select the Students by clicking on the checkboxes to the left of their names
Click on the Update button above the student list
- In the Bulk Edit window that opens up, at the bottom select the checkbox for who you want to get the username and password - the Student or the Parent (Primary) contact
- Finally, click the Update button at the bottom of the this window
If they don't have a username or password, a new username and password will then be automatically generated and e-mailed to them, as long as an e-mail address exists in their profile. If they already have a username, then just the password will be generated and emailed.

Alternately, you can edit each student’s profile individually and manually assign them a username and password. Please remember that usernames are unique among the entire system. So common names will most likely show up as being taken. If your chosen username is taken, try adding numbers or other items to the username.
Passwords are not unique, and can be anything you like. However, passwords with numbers and both upper and lowercase letters are always more secure.
