The student account and all student information
All Lessons on calendar for this student
All Lesson notes for this student
All billing history and invoices for this student
Once deleted, this information is not retrievable.
We recommend that, instead of deleting student accounts, you put these student accounts into Former Status, which keeps the information, but does not count against your active student count -- so you won’t get billed for them. And if they ever change their mind and come back to take lessons with you, you can change their Status back to Active and all their information will be there.
Even if a student is no longer taking from you, it’s better to keep them in the Former Status so that at the end of the year, when you need to know your yearly income, this former student’s income will show in your report; if you permanently delete them, it will remove their income from your reports.
With that in mind, if you end up wanting to permanently delete student accounts, do this…
To delete student accounts, go to the student list by clicking on the Students menu icon on the left. The list of students will display.
There are 2 ways to delete students that we will outline below…

Delete Student Accounts Individually
Once at the list of Students, edit a student by clicking on their name, or by clicking on the blue pencil icon at the far right.
Once in the student profile, look for the Delete button in the top right and click on it.
A Deletion Warning will display…
If you’re sure you want to continue, click the OK button.
The student account will be deleted. If the student you’re deleting is the only child student account in a family, the parent account will be deleted as well.
You will see a confirmation of the deletion:

** WARNING: Before deleting, the same warning applies (see the top of this article), deleting student accounts permanently deletes student and student information / lessons / billing data.
To bulk delete students…
Click on the checkbox to the left of the student’s names you want to delete
Click on the Delete button
A Deletion Warning will display
If you’re sure you want to delete these students, click the OK button
If one of the students you’re deleting is the only child student account in a family, the parent account will be deleted as well.
