To do this without affecting any scheduled charges on the student’s account, and if you charge Per Lesson, then you can do this a couple of ways.

1) Go to the Calendar and set attendance for the lesson as cancelled. At this time, you can choose to issue a make-up credit or not.

2) Create a New event for the student that is $0. If you issued a make-up credit, you can check the box that this is a make-up lesson. If you did not, you can just write yourself a note in the description field that this lesson was charged on XXXX.

If you charge by Flat Fee, then you can edit the lesson to change the date. It won’t affect the billing.

If you want to just change the date and/or time of the lesson that is already invoiced, you can do this. You will get a message warning you about possible affects this can have on your billing. To avoid potential problems with that, after you have rescheduled the lesson(s) that you needed to, create a new invoice for the student. You don't have to send it to them now if you don't want to, but it will make sure the Transaction Log records are correct, and you'll at least have a "paper trail" showing the revised schedule and charges.
