  • The Default Lesson Duration

  • Your Attendance Statuses with Billable/Not Billable options

There's also the Policy Settings area for...

Let's get started in the...

Calendar Tab

To get into your Settings, click on your name in the top right of the screen, or the pull-down menu, and click on the Settings option.

When you get to the Settings area, click the Calendar Tab.

Display Settings

The calendar / display settings area is where you customize how your calendar will look and function.

  • First day of the week - if you start your teaching week on a specific day, you can have your calendar's left-most day be that day by selecting the day here (Sunday, or Monday, for example, or any other day of the week).

  • First hour of the day - here is where you can choose where the top-most calendar hour will start for you. If you start later in the afternoon, you could make this be 2pm, or earlier in day if you start your earlier.

  • Time increment - when adding any item to the calendar, the Time pull down menu's default interval between times will be separated by the time increment you select here.

For example, if you choose a 15 minute time increment, the Time pull down will look like this 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, etc. Of course, you can always manually type in your own specific time.

  • Time format - you can choose either a 12-hour AM/PM format, or a 24 hour format here.

  • Default Meridiem - if you've choose the 12-hour time format option, choose whether the default will be AM or PM. (This option will not show if the time format (above) is in the 24 hour format.

  • Font size - choose here the size of the text displayed on your calendar (options: small, normal, medium, large)

Lesson Settings

Default lesson duration

When creating lessons, the default lesson duration setting will set how long the lessons are if you don't choose a length.

For example, if you go to the Calendar and click Add Lesson, you can simply enter the student, date and time of the lesson only - and that lesson will use the default lesson duration setting here.

Make sure this setting is the length of time you teach most often. You can always manually set a lesson time to whatever you want.
