Studio Tab Settings:
To get into your Settings, click on your name in the top right of the screen, or the pull-down menu, and click on the Settings option.
The first tab, Studio, will be selected. Let's walk through what you'll need to set up here.
Here are the different fields and their descriptions:
Studio Name - this is the name of your music studio or teaching business.
This name will show at the top left of your Duet screen for you, your students and your parents. This name will also be at the top of your Duet website, and the invoices you create.
First and Last Name - enter these in here.
Username - this is your unique username you'll use to log into Duet. Many teachers use their email address as their username. Again, this needs to be unique and can't be used more than once.
Password - the only requirement here is that your password is case sensitive (for example, MyPassWord is not the same as mypassword). Enter your password into the New Password, and Verify Password sections.
Associate my account with Facebook or Google
If you're on Facebook or Google, you can choose to associate these to your Duet account. These options allow you to easily log into Duet with your Facebook or Google account
Address - Select the Country, and enter in the Address that will be shown on your Duet invoices and billing statements.
Email (required) - enter in the email address that we will use to send you notifications about your Duet account.
We recommend adding duetpartner.com to the allow list of your email program or online mail service so that all email from us will be exempt from any spam or content filters.
"Do not send me monthly newsletter" - click this checkbox if you do not want to receive our monthly newsletter email.
Phone - This field is used for 2 things. It can be the phone number that is shown to "logged in" students and parents, and if you include a phone number with the "Cell" option - this will be used for the system SMS / texts that will be sent to you.
Studio Logo - This is the image that will be included by Duet on your Invoices, Statements and Website. The image should be about 200 pixels wide and in .jpg, .png or .gif format. While not required, if you have a logo, it makes you invoices, statements and website look even more visually interesting.

Start Page - the first page you will see when you log into Duet (choices are Home Page, Students, Calendar, Lessons, Billing and Reports)
Disable Help Message - check this box you want to turn off help messages
Instruments
Select the instruments that you offer as a teacher. Use the 'Add new instrument' field if the instrument you need isn't listed.
When finished with your Studio Tab settings click on the Save Studio Settings button
