If you need to remove an event from the calendar, the easiest way to do this is to click on the event, then click on the Delete icon in the lower right area of the information popup. If you want to delete only that event, you can do so by confirming. If you want to delete that event and all of the future events in the repeating series, you need to select that option before confirming.

If you want to delete all of the events on a single date, this can be done from the Month view of the calendar. Click on the date in the calendar and select Delete Events from the popup menu, then confirm your choice.
