Here are the steps on how to start/add a blog to your Duet Partner website:
Go to Website from your left menu
Click on Blog>Posts
Here you can click on the +New Post to start a new post. Once you've completed writing, click Save Post.
To see what your post looks like on your actual website, click the Preview button and click on your heading "Blogs."
*** If your "Blogs" menu button is not there, you need to activate this page from your Website menu:
1. Go to Website>Pages
2. In the Blog line, select the Edit button
3. Under the Page Status, select Active
4. Save Page
COMMENTS
The comment section on your blog is fully under your control. If someone posts a comment, it has to be approved by you in order for it to show up on your website. To see and approve/decline comments, here are the steps:
Go to Website>Blog>Comments
Here you can see what comments are pending and need approval. If you wish to approve one, select it and click the Approve Comment. Once you've done this, an email will be sent to the person saying their comment has been approved.
If you wish to write a reply to the comment (that will show on your site), click the View button next to the comment. From here you can write the reply in the Reply box. Save.
If you wish to mark a comment as Declined or Spam, click the View button next to the comment. From here, you can select the Status as Pending, Approved, Declined or Spam. *Make note that the Reply box is only for replying to approved comments
CATEGORIES
If you plan to have many blog entries, it may be worth your while to categorize them.
Here are the steps for creating categories:
Go to Website>Blog>Posts
Click the +Categories button
Enter in the name of the category you wish to enter.
To place a blog entry into a category, follow these steps:
Go to Website>Blog>Posts
Next to the post, click Edit
On the right side under Categories, you can select the category you wish it to be a part of. OR click Add> type in new category> Add
Save Post
