About This Tutorial
A group lesson can be a one time deal or you can have it repeat (weekly, monthly or yearly). This tutorial shows you how to delete a group lesson for both of these cases.
Note: Make sure you want to delete the group lesson, because once you do it is gone forever.
Delete a Group Lesson That Only Occurs Once
Let's say that the group lesson is no longer going to occur. Since this was a one time occurrence you see no reason to keep it on your calendar. So, you decide to delete it.
Click on Calendar.
Find the group lesson you want to delete. In this example, you want to delete a Piano Duo group lesson.
Click on the group lesson to open up the Scheduled Group Lesson popup box.
In the Scheduled Group Lesson popup box, click on the Trash icon.
In the Delete Group Lesson popup box, click on Yes, Delete button.
The group lesson is no longer in your calendar.
Note: The lesson will also be deleted from your student's calendars as well.
Delete a Group Lesson That Repeats
Whether the group lesson repeats weekly, bi-weekly, or other the steps to delete this series of group lessons is the same.
Let's say you have a group lesson that you scheduled to go from May 6th, 2022 until July 15th, 2022, on a weekly basis. But, it has been cancelled. You decide to delete the lessons from your calendar.
Click on Calendar.
Find the first lesson in the series that you want to delete. In this example is it May 5th, 2022.
Click on the group lesson to open up the Scheduled Group Lesson popup box.
In the Scheduled Group Lesson popup box, click on the Trash icon.
Select Delete all occurrences in this series (past and future). This tells Duet to delete all of the lessons in the series.
Click on the Delete button.
All of the lessons have been deleted from your calendar.
Note: The lessons will no longer show on your student's calendars as well.
