About This Tutorial
Once you have created a lesson, you can go in and edit it. There are a number of attributes you can edit. Such as lesson duration, title, add notes, and more.
This tutorial will show you how to make an edit that effects all of the lessons in a series, and also how to edit a lesson that only occurs once.
Edit a Lesson That Only Occurs Once
Let's say you created a lesson that only happens once. Currently, the lesson is scheduled to be 30 minutes long. But, you want the duration of the lesson to be 60 minutes instead.
Click on Calendar.
Find and click on the lesson that you want to make changes to. In this example, it is on May 18th, 2022. This will open up the Scheduled Lesson popup box.
In the Scheduled Lesson popup box, click on the Pencil icon to edit.
This will open up the Edit Lesson popup box.
In the Edit Lesson popup box, scroll down to the Duration field. Click in this field and change it to 60.
Click on the Update Lesson button to save your changes.
The duration of the lesson has now changed. You can best see this in your calendars week view.
Note: These changes will also show up in your student's calendars.
Edit a Lesson That Repeats
Let's say that you have a new student who wants to give Trombone lessons a try for one month. You schedule them to be every Friday for the month of June. Initially, each lesson is for 30 minutes. But, you want to change the duration of the lessons to be 45 minutes.
Click on Calendar.
Find and click on the first lesson in the series. In this example, it is the one on June 3rd, 2022. This will open up the Scheduled Lesson popup box.
In the Scheduled Lesson popup box, click on the Pencil icon to edit.
This will open up the Edit Lesson popup box.In the Edit Lesson popup box, scroll down to the Duration field. Click in this field and change it to 45.
Select Apply changes to this and future lessons.
Click on the Update Lesson button to save your changes.
The duration of these lessons has now changed. You can best see this in your calendars week view.
Note: These changes will also show up in your student's calendars.
