Month, Week, Day, Location, Agenda, and Attendance views. Discover what each view if for.

About This Tutorial

Your calendar comes with 6 different views:

  • Month

  • Week

  • Day

  • Location

  • Agenda

  • Attendance

This tutorial gives you a brief introduction to them. What each view looks like, what they are for, and in general what you can do within that view.


Month View

The Month view shows what an entire month's schedule looks like. For example:

The Month view is the default view. If you are on another view and need to get back to it, click on the Month box:

What You Can Do

You can add lessons, events, delete, and more. Left click on any day and get the menu shown below.

You can also edit and look at any existing event such as a lesson. Left click on the name and you will see a popup box such as the one below:


Week View

The Week view shows what an entire week's schedule looks like, per hour. For example:

To view your calendar using Week view, click on the Week box:

What You Can Do

You can add lessons, set availability, and more. Left click on any day and time to get the menu shown below.

You can also edit and look at any existing event such as a lesson. Left click on the name and you will see a popup box such as the one below:


Day View

The day view shows you what a particular day's schedule looks like, per hour. For example:

To view your calendar using Day view, click on the Day box:

Location View

The Location view shows you where your lessons are being held. The 3 default locations are:

  • My Home

  • Student's Home

  • Music Studio

This view is helpful if you have lessons at different locations and you need to see an organized overview.

To view your calendar using Location view, click on the Location box:

You can add lessons, set availability, and more. Left click on any day and time to get the menu shown below.

You can also edit and look at any existing event such as a lesson. Left click on the name and you will see a popup box such as the one below:


Agenda View

The Agenda view shows you a chronological listing of what you have scheduled for a particular month. For example:

To view your calendar using Agenda view, click on the Agenda box:

You can either look at the list with a few details (Collapse All view) or show more details (Expand All view). Collapse All is the default. Here is what Expand All view looks like:


โ€‹What You Can Do

You can edit items, reschedule them and even set lesson attendance. Click on the pencil icon and you will see a popup box such as the one below:


Attendance View

The Attendance view gives you one way to set attendance. It will list all students that need attendance set. For example:

To view your calendar using Attendance view, click on the Attendance box:

You can either look at the list with a few details (Collapse All view) or show more details (Expand All view). Collapse All is the default. Here is what Expand All view looks like:
