Problem
You have synced your Duet calendar with your Google calendar. However, you have noticed that the time of the event on your Duet calendar is different than what your Google calendar shows.
Let's say that you created a series of lessons for Pyotr Tchaikovsky. When your Google calendar syncs with your Duet calendar you notice that the time of the lessons, between the two calendars, is different.
Your Duet calendar says that the Lessons are at 7am.
However, your Google calendar shows them at 9am.
Cause of Problem
In order for your Duet and Google calendars to display the same time, their time zones must be set to the same time zone.
In this example, the Duet calendar time zone is set to -09:00 Alaskan Time Zone. Where the Google calendar's time zone is set to -06:00 Mountain Time - Denver.
In this case, the Google calendar time zone is correct. But, the Duet calendar time zone is incorrect.
Resolution
To fix this specific issue, you need to go into your Duet settings and change the time zone setting.
Click on your name < Settings.
Click on the Studio tab.
In the Studio tab scroll down until you find the Time Zone setting.
Click on the down arrow and choose (-07:00) Mountain Time Zone.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Save Studio Settings button.
You will need to wait until Google syncs with your Duet calendar. But when it does you will see that the time the lessons start, between the two calendars, now match.
