About This Tutorial

Attendance lets you keep track of things such as, Did your student show up? Did they miss the lesson? Did you reschedule them?

To set attendance, you will have needed to have created a Lesson, a Group Lesson, or an Event in your calendar.

Set Attendance Via Month, Week, Day, or Location Views

To set attendance from any of these views, do the following (for this example, we will use the Week view):

  1. Click on Calendar > Week view.

  2. Find the date, time, and name of the student you want to set attendance for. Click on the name of the lesson.

In this case it will be Robert Schumann from 3/22/22 at 1:30pm:

  3. Click on the Set Attendance button.

  4. In the Set Attendance box scroll down to the Attendance field.

  5. The field is auto set to Attended. Click on the down arrow to choose another option if you wish. In this case we will choose Attended.

  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the Set Attendance box and click on the Submit button to save.

There is now a green check mark, next to the name, letting you know that the lesson as been set as Attended:

Set Attendance Via Agenda View

The Agenda view only shows future Lessons, Group Lessons, Events, and Personal Appointments. It will not show anything from the current date and before.

Note: You can not set attendance for Personal Appointments.

To set attendance using the Agenda view:

  1. Click on Calendar > Agenda view.

  2. Click on the Pencil icon next to the name of the Lesson, Group Lesson, or Event you want to set attendance too. In this case we will choose John Williams.

  3. Click on the Set Attendance button.

  4. In the Set Attendance box scroll down to the Attendance field.

  5. The field is auto set to Attended. Click on the down arrow to choose another option if you wish. In this case we will keep Attended.

  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the Set Attendance box and click on the Submit button to save.

Set Attendance Via Attendance View

In the Attendance view you can either set all of the attendances at once (if they will all be the same attendance status) or set them one at a time.

Set Attendance All at Once

  1. Click on Calendar > Attendance view.

  2. At the Set attendance for all events field click on the down arrow.

  3. Choose an attendance status. In this case we will set everything to Cancelled.

Notice how each box has now been set to Cancelled:

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Save button.

Set Attendance One at a Time

  1. Click on Calendar > Attendance view.

  2. Scroll down to each event and click on the down arrow. By default this field is set to Attended.

  3. Choose the attendance status for each one.

  4. When done, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Save button.
