You can block out multiple days in a row to let yourself, and your students, know that you will not be available for lessons.

Note: Students will only see this if they have a Duet account. The blocked out time will show on their Duet calendar.

There are 5 avenues you can take to block out multiple days in a row on your calendar:

  • Add New button in your Calendar.

  • These 4 calendar views: Month, Week, Day, Location.

No matter which avenue you take, you will be taken to the exact same Set Availability box. This tutorial will walk you through blocking out an entire week through your calendar's Month view.

Let's say you taking the week of April 3rd off. Here is how you do so:

  1. Click on Calendar > Month view.

  2. Left click on the 5th and choose Set Availability

  3. Select the Unavailable radio button.

  4. Type in a title in the Title field.

  5. Click on the All day and Date range boxes to check them.

  6. At the From field, click on the calendar icon. This will bring up a small calendar.

  7. Click on a day to choose it. In this example the 4th. That date will auto populate in the From field.

  8. At the To field, click on the calendar icon. This will bring up a small calendar.

  9. Click on a day to choose it. In this example the 8th. That date will auto populate in the To field.

  10. Scroll to the bottom of the box and click on the Save Availability button.

You will now see that week, in this case April 4th - April 8th, blocked off.
