About This Tutorial
From within your Duet studio, you can write emails to students, parents, and other contacts.
There are two ways you can write and send emails:
Choose one person from your students list.
Choose two or more people from your students list (bulk email).
This tutorial shows you how to create and send an email you just want to send to one student, with the option of also sending it to their contacts.
Write to One Student and Their Contacts
Let's say that you want to let a parent know that their child's backpack was left at your house. You don't have the parent listed in your Students List, but you do have the student (parent is the primary contact).
Click on Students > Students List.
Check the check box, next to the student's name, whos parent you want to send the email to. In this example, it is Chopin.
Scroll up and click on the Send Email button.
This open up the Bulk Email popup box.
At Send Email to, click on the check box next to each one you want the email to go to. In this example, send it to both the parent (Primary Contact) and the student.
If you have created an email template in your Messaging Preferences, you can select it in the Use a Template? drop down box. In this example, we won't be using a template.
In the Subject field, type in the subject for your email.
In the Message area, type in what you want to say.
If you want to include attachments, click on the Select files... button. In this case, we won't be including any attachments.

βNote: You have a total file size limit of 10MB for attachments. If you want a copy of the email sent to your email address, click on the Send copy of this email to myself box.
