About This Tutorial
The lobby is basically a waiting room for your students while they wait to start their online lesson. When turned on, the students need to wait for you to let them in. When turned off, the students are automatically taken into the room.
This tutorial will show you how to turn the lobby on and off.
Turning the Lobby Off
By default, your lobby is turned on. Let's say that you don't think it is necessary for your student to ask your permission to enter the room.
Click on the ... icon (More actions).
Click on Security options.
This will open up the Security Options popup box.
At the top of the Security Options box is a switch that lets you turn the lobby on or off. Currently, the lobby is on.
Click on the switch to turn the lobby off. The switch will turn to a black and grey color.
The software auto saves your setting change, so you are all set. To exit the Security Options box click on the X.
Turn the Lobby On
If you need to turn your lobby back on, here is how.
Click on the ... icon (More actions).
Click on Security options.
This will open up the Security Options popup box.
At the top of the Security Options box is a switch that lets you turn the lobby on or off. Currently, the lobby is off.
Click on the switch to turn the lobby on. The switch will turn to a purple and white color.
The software auto saves your setting change, so you are all set. To exit the Security Options box click on the X.
