Getting Started with DuoSwim

Learn the essentials to set up and begin training quickly.

Welcome to DuoSwim! Whether you’re training for fitness, speed, or open water, DuoSwim makes it simple to structure your swimming and track your progress. Here’s how to get started:


1. Create Your Account

Sign up with Apple, Google, or email. Once inside, complete onboard including setting your pool length so workouts match your training environment.


2. Choose Your Training Path

You have two options to begin:

  • Explore Workouts → Browse and choose from a wide range of structured swim and dryland workouts. Filter by distance, focus, or stroke to find the perfect session for your goals.

  • Training Plans → Select from structured plans designed for fitness, speed, endurance, triathlon prep, and more. Plans progress week by week and adapt to your swim schedule.


3. Log Your Swims

  • With a Watch → Connect Apple Watch or Garmin for automatic tracking.

  • Without a Watch → Log swims manually in the app with distance, duration, and notes.


4. Track Your Progress

View your weekly swim volume, keep momentum with swim streaks, and unlock milestones as you complete workouts and plans.


5. Explore Dryland Training

Pair your swims with strength or HIIT workouts to build fitness outside the pool. These workouts are designed to complement your swim training and can be scheduled alongside your swim days.
