How To Log A Guided Workout

To optimize your swimming routine with DuoSwim, we highly recommend utilizing our Guided Workouts. They're designed to enhance interval training and guarantee accurate split recordings when paired with a compatible smartwatch. You can seamlessly log your Guided Workouts through the DuoSwim app using a supported smartwatch, or manually record your sessions to keep track of your progress.

You can log a Guided Workout in DuoSwim with a compatible smartwatch, or manually log the Workout.

Send to Apple Watch

To send a Workout to your Apple Watch:

  1. Open the Workout on your iPhone that you want to send.

  2. Open the DuoSwim Apple Watch app.

  3. Tap Start in the DuoSwim app.

  4. Select Send to Apple Watch (ensure the watch shows 'Green' and 'Connected').

  5. Tap Last Sent Workout to load it.

  6. Begin your Workout when ready.

After completing the Workout, it will automatically log to your DuoSwim account, and you can view detailed statistics in the Profile tab of the mobile app.

Send to Garmin Watch

For Garmin users looking to use DuoSwim:

  1. Open the Workout on your phone.

  2. Tap Start Workout.

  3. Choose Send to Garmin Connect.

  4. Follow Garmin's steps to sync and start the Workout.

Without a Smartwatch

If you don't have a smartwatch, you can still follow DuoSwim workouts:

  • Print the Workout: Access the PDF via the app and print it.

  • Bring your phone to the pool: Protect it with a waterproof case or bag.

  • Complete from memory: If familiar, recall sets and intervals.

After completing your Workout, open the DuoSwim app, select the workout, click 'Start', and choose 'Manual Log' to record it in your Profile.
