Fostering a culture of accountability

The Duuoo platform is designed to facilitate meaningful conversations that lead to actionable outcomes. But how can we ensure that our conversations lead to action and that we hold each other accountable to see these actions through? One way, is to record actions decided in your meetings as Agreements. (see also: Duuoo Goals)

Agreements are made during 1-on-1 conversations, and can be assigned to either the manager or the team member.

To add an Agreement, start your scheduled 1-on-1 meeting with your team member. You'll find a 'Add an Agreement' button on the right side (under 'Agreements' tab).

Agreements can be assigned to either the manager or the team member, supporting the idea that these dialogues are a collaborative process, with each party having responsibility to move them forward.

You can complete Agreements in between meetings by simply clicking the little check mark on the Agreement. Once you do that, it will get a date stamp. If you completed the Agreement by mistake, simply just remove the check mark again.

You can only edit, or delete or make new Agreements during your 1-on-1 meetings. All open Agreements and the Agreements completed since you last had a meeting will always be shown in the follow-up section of your 1-on-1 meetings.

All open Agreements will be visible on you team page under the Agreements tab. The Agreements that you complete between meetings stay there until you have had your next meeting. After the next meeting, where you have all gotten a common understanding of what has been accomplished, they are removed from the open Agreements overview.

You you can also the Agreements each of your employees has with you on their profile page on the Overview tab.

Agreements are not public and can only be viewed by the two parties that made them together. This means that even as a manager, you can only view the agreements of your team members that they have made with you. Any Agreements they have made with another manger will be hidden from your view.
