Troubleshooting Tips for DX Point of Sale (POS)
If you experience issues while using the Point of Sale, you can try this:
Issue: System Appears Frozen
If you find the system frozen:
Try tapping or clicking on the digital clock located in the bottom left corner. This simple action can often refresh the page and get things moving again.
If the system is stuck in a loop, this would fix the issue.
If clicking the clock doesn’t do the trick, you might need to restart the device.
Before you restart, be sure to make note of the following details to help DX troubleshoot:
The steps you were taking just before the problem occurred.
The approximate time and date when the issue happened.
If restarting doesn't work:
Shut down the POS device and unplug its power supply cable.
Shut down the payment terminal and unplug its power supply cable.
Shut down the receipt printer and unplug its power supply cable.
Wait for about 30 seconds, then reconnect everything.
Remember: It’s crucial to power on the payment terminal and printer before turning on the POS device again. This sequence can help ensure a smoother restart process.
