Here are some common issues with troubleshooting microphones.
Check if your microphone is the chosen input device on your workstation
Go to Windows Settings
Sound Settings
b. Input Devices
Ensure that your microphone’s make & model is chosen as the desired input devices
2. Check Advanced settings
Go to Settings
Sound Settings
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find Advanced Sound Setting
iii. Select “Volume Mixer”
Under “System” settings, ensure that your microphone is selected as the input device.
OR for Dentrix Core users - Under “Apps” settings, if Bola application is an option, select the downward carrot next to the volume toggle to choose a default input device. Be sure to choose your microphone.
