Investment platforms such as EarlyBird always require that you provide a social security number (SSN) as a process of verifying your identity. We're required to run a KYC (Know Your Customer) check to ensure all information is accurate before investing in a child.

All financial institutions are required by the U.S. Patriot Act to obtain, verify, and record information identifying each person who opens an account. Your SSN is also required to issue you a tax reporting form each year.

You’re only able to open one EarlyBird account per Social Security Number (SSN).
