How to add external jobs

EarnBetter enables you to access our full suite of AI features not just for jobs you find on EarnBetter, but also those you find off of EarnBetter as well (on employer's websites, other job boards, and more).

You can add those external jobs to your Job Tracker, generate custom resumes and covert letters for them, and access the full suite of interview support, follow up emails and more!

There are two ways to add these jobs to your EarnBetter account:

Option 1: Via the Job Tracker

Click into the job tracker on your top navigation and click on the button to + Add external job.

From there you can add the job details (Company Name, Job Title and the full job description). We require at least 150 characters for these jobs to be added.

Once you have added the "External Job" it will show up in the Saved Column in your job tracker with an "External Job" pill on it. You can generate your documents from there.

From your documents tab click the "Resume" or "Cover Letter" buttons, click "Yes, tailor an existing EarnBetter resume" and add a job title. You will then be prompted with the menu below. Once you click "Yes" and paste in the Company Name and Job Description this external job will be created as you are generating your resume or cover letter. You can find the job tile in the Job Tracker.
