Only original documents are acceptable for verifying your identity, as outlined in the instructions – copies, pictures of an ID card, or temporary documents are prohibited. Additionally, digital ID cards are not currently supported. Expired documents are okay, as long as they're originals and are your own.
If you attempt to verify your identity using anything other than a real document that is physically present, it will be declined and you will not be permitted to retry.
