How do I verify my identity by postcard?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can verify your identity by postcard from the verification center. Here's how it works:

  1. Update your address on your account page to ensure it's up-to date and lists your home address, or some other place you can receive mail.

  2. Submit your request for a postcard. We will validate your address with the USPS to ensure it's a location that they can deliver mail to. If there are any issues – for example, if you've listed an unnecessary apartment or unit number, or are missing that information – your postcard won't be mailed.

  3. Wait for your postcard to arrive. Your account may display tracking information if it's made available to us.

  4. Once your postcard arrives, follow the instructions on the card to complete your verification

If you requested a postcard and it hasn't arrived, you can cancel the current request by visiting https://earnhaus.com/verify/address and request a new postcard. Follow the prompts provided to complete this process. If you need assistance, please contact support.

Typically, postcards arrive within one week through USPS, though delivery times may vary based on your local mail service. Your account may display tracking information if available.

Note that an address can only be verified once, so if you have multiple people who wish to participate living in the same household, you cannot verify both accounts using this method.
