What This Stage Covers
Per the Earthaus Tadelakt Installation Guide, the finish stage is four thin, wet-on-wet Tadelakt Plaster coats totaling 1/8" (each approximately 1/32" thick):
First coat: Feather edges, apply thinly.
Second coat: Apply immediately over the damp first coat.
Third coat: Same as the second.
Fourth coat: Refine the surface and achieve a smooth finish.
Burnishing starts at a 45-degree angle and is done while the plaster is damp but firm.
