What Is Acrylic Sealer?
Earthaus Acrylic Sealer is a synthetic acrylic emulsion sealer formulated for professional use. It provides added stain resistance, surface durability, and water repellency.
Use of Earthaus Acrylic Sealer should not replace proper substrate preparation, plaster mixing, or plaster application.
Properties
Medium sheen
Contains VOCs (20 g/L — very low)
Excellent UV stability; will not chalk or yellow
Produces a synthetic look and feel
Packaging & Coverage
Packaged in 1-quart bottles.
Covers approximately 50 ft² (3 thin coats).
Where Acrylic Sealer Can Be Used
Interior finishes (suitable): Tadelakt Plaster, Marble Plaster, Stone Plaster
Exterior finishes: Not suitable for exterior use.
How to Apply Acrylic Sealer
Plaster must be cured at least 7 days before applying Acrylic Sealer.
Air and substrate temperatures must be ≥40°F and rising.
Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free of contaminants.
Stir well; pour through a mesh paint strainer to remove impurities.
Apply with a high-quality foam roller for fine finish work.
Apply three thin coats with 2 hours drying time between coats.
Drying & Curing Times (at 75°F)
Dry to touch: 30 minutes
Dry hard: 55 minutes
Recoat: 2 hours
Full cure: 72 hours
Storage
Keep containers tightly closed. Do not allow to freeze.
Shelf life: 1 year (unopened).
